“We Were born for such a time as this.”
I ummed and arred for a while when it came to making the investment to turn up to the summit, but when I heard those words at the Friday avo prayer meeting, words which were on my mind as well, immediately I really felt assured we were in for a good weekend.
A month earlier I had spent two weeks in Toowoomba, and right from the outset, the message throughout the summit was a continuation of what I had been getting there.
FGBA may be small and insignificant to the eyes of the church (i.e. those who know about us) right now, but that big ship cannot navigate new waters or uncharted seas. Nor can she turn easily, especially when so laden with the intake of the sea of apostasy such as that we witness through the marriage issue. No, we are small and hungry for a move of God, and I felt we were in the right place to explore how God wants to bring His kingdom to the hearts of men in our nation in this day.
“If we do not teach the Nations, the Nations will teach us.”
How true this is. Christians have soaked, bathed in the teachings of this godless age! We have been silent on sex education for example, and allowed the world to be our educators in all the gates including this one. Freedom comes at a price – vigilance! We are the watchmen.
We (Christians) are to be the disciplers; discipling our nation in the ways of the Kingdom of God. In reality this is an old story, yet it is a new vision for we have not gone this way before. We are familiar with the message of salvation. However, God's intent was never just to get us over the blood line. We are to go on in the ministry of putting satan under our feet as the early disciples did when they healed the sick, cast out demons and raised the dead. We are to show forth the righteousness that was in Christ and bring forth the kind of justice the prophets continually spoke of.
My thanks goes out to the team of Singaporeans who gave so much to extend the kingdom. I pray that we be obedient to the call the Lord has placed upon our respective lives.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Yours in Christ,
Martin ter Wee.

We were again blessed at the recent Melbourne FGBA Summit from the teaching and testimonies of brothers, Khoo Oon Theme and Georgie Lee from Singapore as they have continued to sow into the FGB Australia. What I believe is important now is what we do with the knowledge , revelation, understanding and commissioning we received at the Summit.
During the last 25 years I have attended many FGB conferences and have been encouraged and have grown spiritually from each one and have returned home to put into practice what we had learned. Invariably there were few victories but there was also lack of support, many defeats, wrong paths, false starts and disappointments, and I suspect that this may have been the same for many of us.
I came away from this latest conference with an expectation and belief that our vision for the transformation of this nation is indeed possible and that the vision we have been given personally or through Demos has not died. I came home with a belief that there will be revival in this nation and that the many "son's (and daughters) of Issachar" throughout Australia who understand the times in which we live and are being positioned by God for revival. I came home with an understanding that the Kingdom and revival is multi-generational. I came home with a belief that the Light of Christ will overcome the creeping confusion and darkness.
Although the FGBA are now a remnant compared to 30 years ago I am convinced that God will have His victory through one or a through a thousand. We have each been called and instructed to know our specific roles and do our part. We are to encourage the body of Christ, we are to make disciples, we are to father the next generation, and we are to preach the good news to the poor.
We have been mandated to heal the broken hearted, to heal the sick, to proclaim liberty to the captives and an opening of the prison to those who are bound. We are to understand who we are in God and the power of Christ who lives and dwells with us and within us.
We have been blessed with great knowledge and great teaching. We are now called to walk out what God has revealed to us over many years, not wavering in our faith. I believe it is now time for our hope to become expectation, our expectation to become faith, and our faith to become action. As a brother prophesied at the Summit: "The fields are white unto harvest - Now!" We were also told: "Maybe we were born for such a time as this."
We have been reminded that this is not about us. It is about the big picture. It is about the Kingdom. God's Kingdom coming to earth as in Heaven. God's Kingdom coming into our families, our cities, our states, our Nation, and the whole World.
Go boldly brothers and sisters. Pray for revival, pray for discernment, pray for courage, pray for opportunities, pray for an open doors, pray. Matt 10: 7-8, Luke 10: 8-9, Mark 16: 15-18
"It is not the size of the dog that counts, it's the size of the fight in the dog." - Mark Twain - Who lives in us?
Elements of a Cause
To have a cause succeed it is necessary to adhere to the elements of that cause. [We have seen more than one example of this clearly demonstrated in Australia in 2017.]
The elements of any action are focus, commitment, vigilance, dedication, resolve, passion, faithfulness, cooperation, community, fellowship, joining forces, routine, continuity- the list continues.
At the Summit Gathering in Melbourne October 2017 Papa Khoo and the leaders of FGBA outlined and put flesh to the elements of God’s cause. They outlined the specifics of the vital elements that, if adhered to, will lead to God’s Sovereignty here on earth and in each nation.
The framework has been given us. The additional requirement is harvest workers, Godly people – (people of Stature), believers who are willing and prepared to take hold of the vision and adhere to the elements of God’s cause.
In this way we will put the walls and roof upon the framework given us, and in so doing we will experience and see God’s Kingdom here on earth.
It has been truthfully spoken that the silent majority cannot be both silent and be the majority simultaneously.
Likewise we cannot be inactive and have dreams come to fruition. .
To both know and act will achieve our outcome. Praise God!
Our thanks go to each person who participated in the Melbourne Summit, and to all the hard workers who made it possible! Thank you Lorna for your unfailing encouragement for us to attend. It has been a total blessing.

Full Gospel Business Australia – Melbourne Summit
Attending the Melbourne Summit for me was an amazing Godly experience that I will not forget. It was truly an honour and privilege to be surrounded by Godly men and women, with such great encouraging testimonies of God’s wonder working power and miracles in their life.
The first evening, as soon as I entered the conference hall Stefan Horvath introduced me to Papa Khoo. The moment I met Papa Khoo, I could not only see the enthusiasm for the Kingdom of God but I immediately knew in my heart that God had an important message for me through Papa Khoo and the FGBA team presenting over the next couple of days at the summit.
One of the many highlights of Papa Khoo’s teaching for me was the “unction to function” Luke 9:1-2 was supported by the testimonies of Papa Khoo where he stepped into large corporations and declared the Kingdom of God and saw immediate change that glorified God, it was so encouraging. They were all true examples of seeing the impossible made possible by God our Father.
Georgie Lee’s teaching to conduct Godly business, gave me a different perspective to manage my business, especially the illustration of being in an aquarium versus being in an ocean made God’s will and purpose of positioning us in the market place so clear.
The personal testimony of George Perry and Evelyn Lee affirmed God’s word that nothing is impossible for Almighty God and we are all fearfully and wonderfully made.
I was also encouraged by what Stefan Horvath shared about covenant marriage.
The whole summit has truly been a blessing to me, I was able to learn, be prayed for, be mentored and make new friends in Christ. I’m thankful to the team that organised the summit.
I’m looking forward to attending the next summit in Adelaide.

Praise the Lord for the National Gatekeeper Summit held recently in Victoria 27-29 Oct'17. It was very encouraging to see 4 generations of believers coming together to praise our Lord Jesus Christ as well as having numerous opportunities to learn from one another. A good example of generational discipling in action.
It was also an opportunity for my 2 young boys to be part of this summit and I am sure in their purity and simple faith, that the Holy Spirit deposited something in their heart like a seed which will grow and bear good fruits as they grow up. I thank God for our Singapore strategic gatekeepers who especially made time and flew down to impart to us. Indeed, I am reminded of God's calling in my life and to fulfill His Kingdom assignment as we press on to advance the Kingdom of God.
God's mighty hand is upon the nation of Australia!
FGBA Doncaster Gate
Tell my people they must prevail over the gates!!
This is what I believe I heard from the Lord in recent days: “Tell my people they must prevail over the gates for My vision and mission for the FGBA to come to pass”
For several days this week, after returning home from the National Summit, my spirit had become very heavy, almost to the point of depression. It was as if He had put the burden of prayers from people asking about prevailing over the gates on my spirit. I asked Him “Why? What is the matter? What is going on?”
I sensed His reply: “Many of my people still don’t have enough revelation of what prevailing over the gates is about and why it is essential that My people do this. I have called you into the FGBA for such a time as this and you are to lead My people into prevailing over the gates”.
What are gates?
The word “gate” in the original language can be defined as a large opening through a wall, a structure closing, or enclosure; or a barrier created so that people and things can pass to another area, a new area. A gate opens the way to something different. It is a passageway or a channel, an avenue. Gates, because of their function in the Old Testament cities, took on a symbolic meaning. Both the prophets and Christ Himself used this symbolism.
A study of the Old Testament Bible shows city gates had four main functions:
- A place where access into cities, marketplaces and the temple is controlled and fortified protection is provided (Josh. 2:7; 7:5; Judg. 16:2-3; 18:16-17; 2 Kings 11:6; 14:13).
- A place where legal or government leaders of the city sat to determine and decree judicial decisions (Gen. 19:1; Deut. 25:7; 2 Sam. 19:8; Lam. 5:14).
- A place where significant business functions and social activities occurred and where business contracts were agreed to and witnessed (Gen. 34:24; Ruth 4:1,11; 2 Sam. 15:2).
- A place where the prophets delivered and decreed the prophetic messages to the elders of the city (1 Kings 22:10; 2 Chron. 18:9; Jer. 7:2; 17:19).
The temple also had gates and gatekeepers
- 2 Chronicles 23:19: And he set the GATEKEEPERS at the GATES of the house of the Lord, so that no one who was in any way unclean should enter.
The gates are symbolic of God’s provision for His people and the way for His blessings to flow to His people and keep them safe:
- Gen. 22:17: blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the GATE of their enemies.
- Isa. 26:2: Open the GATES, that the righteous nation which keeps the truth may enter in.
- Isa. 60:11: Therefore your GATES shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day or night, that men may bring to you the wealth of the Gentiles, and their kings in procession.
- Isa. 62:10: Go through, go through the GATES! Prepare the way for the people; build up, build up the highway! Take out the stones, lift up a banner for the peoples!
The gates are also symbolic of evil powers that war against the souls of people and against the church (ecclesia – the called-out ones) that Christ is building:
- Isa. 38:10: I said, “In the prime of my life I shall go to the GATES of Sheol; I am deprived of the remainder of my years."
- Isa. 45:2: “I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the GATES of bronze and cut the bars of iron."
- Jer. 51:58: Thus says the LORD of hosts: “The broad walls of Babylon shall be utterly broken, and her high GATES shall be burned with fire; the people will labour in vain, and the nations, because of the fire; and they shall be weary."
- Matt. 16:18: “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the GATES of Hades shall not prevail against it.”
Thus there are spiritual gates around us, above us and below us. There are spiritual gates in each of the following
- Arts, entertainment and sports
- Business and finance
- Church and religion
- Distribution, media and communications,
- Family and community
- Government and law.
What does it mean to prevail?
To prevail means to prove more powerful or superior, win through, triumph, be victorious, be the victor, gain the victory, carry the day, come out ahead, come out on top, succeed, prove superior, conquer, overcome, gain/achieve mastery, gain ascendancy.
In summary, we are to keep the gates (windows) of heaven above us to keep them open to advance His kingdom here on earth, occupy the gates of our enemies (Genesis 22:17) and sit at the gates around us, allowing righteousness through but not unrighteousness.
So, what does it mean to prevail over the gates?
We prevail by using the 8 W’s during our gate meetings and during our family alter times, using the heavenly rhythm/pattern of the Lord’s prayer. We prevail by first WORSHIPPING our Heavenly Father; by decreeing His WAYS – “Your kingdom come”, remembering that the kingdom of God is not in words but in power; by confirming His WILL (“Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven”); by reading, consuming, believing and acting on His WORD; WITNESS by sharing testimonies of Christ, His love and forgiveness; by doing the WORKS of the Father, using the gifts from Abba Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; by acting as watchmen at the gates, like the sons of Issachar who knew the signs of the times by WATCHING AND PRAYING, loving and forgiving those who trespassed against us; and lastly, by WALKING out into the marketplaces, appointed to His Kingdom, anointed with His power and adorned with His glory with an open heaven above us.
FGBA Gatekeepers should already have the FGBA MDN 3 Manual – God and Nations where the 8Ws are explained in greater detail. If you don’t have a copy and want one, please contact your Gate leader who will then contact the State Director who will make arrangements for you to receive a copy via Dropbox.
Among many things I believe about God, I believe He does not call us into a battle He does not intend for us to win. So please, as Jesus says: “prevail against the gates, for My vision and mission for the FGBA to come to pass”
I believe it is essential we get in the groove/rhythm of the 8Ws before the next National Summit, which will, I believe, focus on discipling. Jesus was already in this groove when He started out on His ministry. There was no evidence of signs and wonders when He first called His disciples to follow Him. As they followed Him, they witnessed who He is, with signs and wonders following Him wherever He went.
Note: I shared the outline of this with Anthony Connell a couple of days ago and I felt a prompting to ask him to write an article on “Prevailing over the gates using worship”. This he has done, and I thank the Lord for his willingness to share what the Lord had revealed to him. The article is published on the FGBA Website News section.
I welcome testimonies from others on parts the 8Ws to prevail over the gates, as I am sure they will serve to encourage us to persist faithfully in committing to and prevailing over the gates.
FGBA National Chairman
The second National Summit, Melbourne, November 2017.
Last weekend, the FGBA had its second National Summit, the theme being “Take your mark.”.
This was an anointed event appreciated and embraced by all, encouraging us all to our onward and upward call in pursuing Christ for all that He is.
I take this opportunity to thank the Lord for releasing our close friends from Singapore, Papa Khoo, Georgie and Evelyn Lee, and Susan Vong to bring His Word to us, ministering to us in His love and further imparting to us the passion to prevail at the gates and making disciples in all nations.
Many received personal prophecies as well during ministry time and it fills my heart with joy to see that the Lord always has an encouraging and loving word for each of us.
I also thank the Victorian gatekeepers, so capably led by Jeff Fang, for organising the event and the program and for making sure we were well looked after.
Lastly, I thank the FGBA National Council for their full support of the event and for all gatekeepers for coming, some at great personal expense. It was wonderful to see all States and Territories represented.
I look forward to testimonies of others who attended.
Shalom and blessings

OCTOBER 2017 “TAKE YOUR MARK” SUMMIT.
“And he SET the GATEKEEPERS at the GATES of the house of the Lord, so that no one who was in any way unclean should enter.” - 2 Chronicles 23:19
Indeed, God is calling for His gatekeepers over the nation of Australia to arise for such a time as this! The 2nd of three National Gatekeepers Summits was held in Victoria from October 27 to 29, 2017. The summit theme was “TAKE YOUR MARK” and God has truly called forth many Gatekeepers to take their mark. The Summit was especially significant in FGBA’s history as:
- - There were 68 participants including 38 men, 24 women, 4 children and 2 infants
- - All 8 Australian states and territories were represented
- - For the first time 4 generations converged for an FGBA event
During the Summit gala dinner, 93 guests (including 48 men, 33 women, 9 children and 3 infants) were present to hear the present trends and the vision to advance the Kingdom of God.
Victorian Gate Leader and 2017 Vic, Summit convener.
Preparing for Kingdom Transformation was what this “TAKE YOUR MARK” summit was all about for me.
There was a time during the summit that I looked around the room and there was a real attentiveness in the room that we “GOT IT”. What does “got it” mean?
The majority of attendance linked Discipling Disciples to the Kingdom Transformation of our Nation. That the Apostolic mandate to transform our Nation, and appoint Elders to sit over the gates of our nation became a reality to us.
Prevailing over the gates for Gods appointed, means to conquer and prove superior over the present rule of governance, and appoint a Kingdom Authority to govern and rule with a Biblical worldview. A view that gives all Glory and Honour to our Lord Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour for his wonderful benevolence of His Shalom peace and good will to mankind everywhere. Luke 2:14.
Blessings to you all in the Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
National Director Victoria
I am sure we are all in agreement that we want to see the Kingdom of God prevail in our personal lives, in our families, business, cities and nation. We understand that the Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy, in the Holy Spirit. The Kingdom of God is the reign or rule of God. If the Kingdom of God was fully manifest in Australia we would have our Government finding godly solutions to govern our people with equity and justice by receiving ‘wisdom from above’. Thus, the government would have discernment of what is good for our people and what is harmful.
Our education mountain would provide a great source of godly material to fashion the minds of our children and prepare our leaders of tomorrow to lead us in ‘paths of righteousness’. I could say the same thing for every mountain or gate in our nation with the assured outcome that ‘righteousness exalts a nation’.
How important is it to seek God’s kingdom in our daily lives? Is it really important? In Matthew 6:33, Jesus said, “But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Maybe Jesus should have said, ‘seek fourth the kingdom of God or maybe fifth because I know you have many priorities in your life’. Jesus knows what we need to do to be able to receive His promise found in John 10:10, “I have come that they may have life and that more abundantly.” If we really wanted the best for our lives, our families, city and nation we would seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness – what do you think?
I want to share one aspect of prevailing over the gates to see His Kingdom come, His will be done and that is through worship. How the dickens can worship change my life, my workplace, my nation? We see in the life of King David, before he was king and faithfully serving King Saul, that when Saul was troubled by a demon, David played his harp and sanity was restored to King Saul. For a season, the ‘government’ was able to function free from the oppression and ‘wisdom from below.’
In another example, we see how a nation that was about to be conquered by a much more powerful enemy, suddenly and completely devastated their opponents through the weapons of praise and worship. You know the story well - it is the account of King Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles Chapter 20. When King Jehoshaphat heard that three nations had gathered their armies together to attack Judah, he cried out to God and God responded through a prophet who declared that this was not their battle, but the Lord’s. The King’s strategy was to send the singers to go ahead of the army to sing to the Lord and to praise Him. The outcome was that God set ambushes against the three opposing armies and they attacked each other and completely annihilated each other. It took the Israelites three days to gather up all the spoil from their dead enemies.
My own testimony, one of so many, is simple but profound! I received a simple prophecy that I was going to continue in real estate, but with a different agency and with advancement.’ In 1999, after coming back from attending an FGB world convention in the US, I received a phone call from a real estate principal from another agency asking me to consider becoming their new Sales Manager. This particular office was struggling; the Sales Manager and some sales people had left and the Principal’s son who worked there was disheartened. I had been greatly blessed from the FGB convention and was full of the spirit of praise and worship. I accepted the terms and conditions and started my new role as a Sales Manager. Besides meeting the staff and encouraging them, my God given strategy was to praise and worship God and to command listings and sales to come to myself and my sales staff. God turned the company’s fortunes around; everyone was encouraged, confidence was restored and God blessed us financially. For some years after, I was asked to say grace at the Company’s annual Christmas party. My sales staff were counselled to always tell the truth, to work for the vendor and to sell their property as if it was their own.
Praise and worship ushers in the presence of God manifesting the presence of wisdom, gentleness, righteousness, and victory. Never underestimate worship. God certainly hears our praises and works on our behalf to bring His Kingdom and His righteousness over the gates. Hallelujah!
National Director New South Wales and ACT
National Director for Pastoral Care Leadership
Actually, this article is not being typed at my usual desk, but from Richard and Mary Frame’s table in their home on top of a bluff in Napier, New Zealand. From where I am typing this letter, I have an amazing view of the ocean and downtown Napier. Richard is a retired farmer, well known as an evangelist, active with the FGBMFI here, and has in the past served on the board of FGBMFI in NZ. He is a keen shofar enthusiast, well known for regularly blowing his shofar over the city of Napier, and extending the trumpet calls throughout the spiritual realm to all nations. Over the next two days, he is teaching me about proclamations and blowing the shofar over the city of Canberra, to impact on the National and ACT Parliaments.
I have shared my testimony with members, wives and their friends at five chapter meetings in the South Island - Christchurch, Timaru, Dunedin/Mosgiel, Alexandra and Invercargill and am now travelling through the North Island, having spoken in Stratford, Feilding, Carterton and North Wellington. I have five more chapters to speak to before returning home. Tonight I will be speaking at Graham Eagle’s (the National President) home chapter.
My testimony has been very well received so far, and there has been much much ministry at every venue, but only one salvation, at the last place I spoke. This one came after much prayer earlier in the day, crying out “JUST ONE SOUL TONIGHT LORD”. Tonight, my cry is TWO SALVATIONS AND SEVERAL NEW MEMBERS as I have been told there will be quite a few guests there.
Just as in Australia, everyone here comments about how much harder it is to win souls to the Lord. The membership numbers continue to dwindle here, with the vast majority in the 60+ age group. The average age at some meetings were over 70 years. I even had a couple of ladies over 90 years old coming forward for prayer to be allowed release from their rest homes to go to coffee shops and talk about Jesus.
There is no doubt the devil has managed to gain legal rights to disrupt the FGB activities in many countries through the courts of heaven. The devil is allowed to block prayers for souls and to discourage members from inviting guests and guest from accepting invitations to attend. I woke up early this morning with quite a burden for the FGB both in Australia and New Zealand. I sensed we had been conducting our spiritual warfare in the battlefields without first seeking judgments in the courts of heaven such that we could have strong and lasting victories in the battlefield. Revelation 19:11 says that Jesus, who is faithful and true, judges in righteousness and makes war. This verse shows that Jesus first judges, then makes war.
I believe the Lord is calling us to have Satan’s legal rights overturned and the judgments thrown out of the courts. Thus we need to come into the courts of heaven, ask for Satan’s legal rights overturned, remind the courts of God’s plan and purposes for the FGB and for favourable judgments so that we can have victories in the spiritual battlefields. So I would appreciate prayerful support in this arena.
It is not long till the next national summit in Melbourne, so I look forward to meeting many of you there to see what God has for our next step of preparation in fulfilling His vision for the FGBA.
In the meantime, shalom and every blessings to you all.
In His love
Full Gospel Business Australia
I was talking with a gentleman at church recently who said that he found Christianity had been hard for him. I heard myself say, “I have found it easy.” After making this statement I re-checked myself, in the Lord. Is this a scriptural declaration?
Jesus said in Matthew 11:28-30, “Come unto me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Jesus said that if we take on His yoke and burden that we would find it to be easy and light and that we would find rest for our souls. He will teach us personally from His gentle and lowly heart. Psalm 23 says that the Lord is my shepherd, I will not want (or be in lack) and that He makes me to lie down in green pastures and lead me by the still waters – Jesus Himself will refresh and inspire us!
Am I prepared to take upon myself Christ’s ‘yoke’ and am I prepared to take His ‘burden’ upon myself? Setting time aside to ‘take hold of God’ in prayer and worship (Isaiah 64:7) is not something my flesh wants to do. Being yoked to Christ or abiding in Him is a restriction to my natural desires. Yet again we have the promise, “He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” (1 John 5:12). In John 10:10 Jesus also said” I have come that they may have life and that more abundantly.” How much do I want to experience, ‘the peace of God that passes all understanding’, or ‘the love of Christ which passes knowledge?’ Is it true that, “in the presence of God there is fullness of joy and at His right hand are pleasures forever more?”
Satan and our natural mind (our flesh) have lied to us for too long; Did God say….? People might say, “I have tried praying and reading God’s Word but it didn’t produce the results I was looking for. God will test our hearts! Jesus was tested by the Father as well as being tempted by the devil. I can tell you by my own experience, but more importantly by the Word of God, that ‘He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.’ Are we reading His Word and waiting in His presence until we experience His loving kindness? Remind the Lord, “Lord your Word declares, “If we draw near to you then You will draw near to us.” Remind yourself, in His presence, “Thank you Lord that all that You are, You are within me.” Persistence and expectancy that God will meet with you, based on His Word, is key.
As FGBA Gatekeepers we are preparing for our kingdom assignments and for a new anointing; an impartation of divine grace and power to be more effective to impact our families, cities and nations. As a child of God and because of the blood of Christ, we all qualify – God is no respecter of persons!
If you are sick and tired of being sick and tired of principalities and powers then it is time to take action. Firstly let us surrender ourselves afresh to the lordship of Christ, repent, if we need to, and come humbly before the one who truly loves us and allow Him to minister His peace, joy and loving kindness to our hearts, in Jesus wonderful Name. He alone can raise us up, for He is the author and finisher of our faith.

SITTING AT THE GATES
Where I work in the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources here in Canberra, I sit at the “master” national gate, believing that God is bringing His influence, especially His righteousness, into managing the imports of animals and animal products into this nation through the various national border gates with God-inspired policies. I am not the CEO, SES or anyone high up in the government mountain, but it is very apparent that the Lord, through me, brings His righteousness into the situation. It’s not who you are or whether you are in a position of influence in the mountain, but whose you are, knowing that He has called you to be within the mountain and this is where God has placed you. This is not about being a person of influence within the mountain, but serving the God who does the influencing (Proverbs 21:1). This is not always about being a person with spiritual authority, but often about being an instrument of God’s righteousness. Religion teaches us that we are statues of God’s righteousness (a position), but faith in God inspires us that we are His powerful rods of righteousness, with His righteousness transforming outcomes in the mountain. Not everything in the mountain is about casting out demons and such, exercising spiritual authority. Much is about bringing the Lordship of Jesus Christ in all His righteousness into the workplace.
I share some testimonies of this …
Some years ago, back in 2001, the Lord had placed me within a hard-working team tasked with proving Australia’s freedom from BSE (bovine spongiform encephalopathy), commonly known as mad-cow disease, to our trading partners. The team had been struggling with this task for a few years and desperately needed a breakthrough on a crucial issue. Australia had imported many live cattle from the United Kingdom during the critical years and, because of the scale of the outbreak in the UK, there was a risk of an infected imported animal, dead or alive somewhere in Australia. Although Australia had closed the gate to imports of live cattle and at-risk cattle products, this could be a case of shutting the door after the horse had bolted. My task was to help finding out if the horse had indeed bolted, that is, if we had imported an infected animal. A break through was needed and God delivered miraculously and I was involved in these miracles, too numerous to describe here. But many of you have already heard my testimony. The outcome of the team effort, because there were many factors to cover, was Australia being amongst the first country in the world recognised as officially free from BSE, all because of God’s intervention with His truth and righteousness.
Several years later, around the time I retired from government work for a while, the Lord placed me in a very strategic position within a legal team representing the Australian Government in a class action case. At the beginning, the outlook was very bleak with many believing the government would have to pay several hundred million dollars in damages. God led me to the truth of what actually happened, much to the disbelief of many experts, and the legal team used this truth to bring about a dramatic closure to the class action. It was never contested in open court. Again this was because of God’s intervention with His truth and righteousness.
Since returning to work part-time a couple of years ago, I have drafted policies for importing semen and embryos of cattle, sheep and goats, and now assisting a team with finishing policies for importing fresh beef from USA, Japan the Netherlands, New Zealand and Vanuatu, to protect Australia from incursions of exotic and unwanted diseases. The latter is a very controversial issue, one which is being closely observed by the cattle industry here in Australia. In the past, teams involved in this type of work were under severe stress. Before I came on the beef team, people wanted to get off. Some left work, some transferred to other tasks. There were around six at the start. When I came on, there were only two left. Now I’m on the team, there is much less stress and nobody else has left. However, I believe that if I had the confidence of an open heaven above me with well-developed spiritual senses, I believe could have done much more. This work is now drawing to a close.
All these experiences showed me that God loves this nation including its primary producers, and wants to protect His creation, the cattle, sheep and goats, from the ravages of the exotic diseases that destroys livestock in many other nations.
The amazing thing about being God’s instrument of righteousness was that it did not come about by spending time in prayer, but by simply meditating on the fact the I have absolutely no righteousness in me, only His righteousness that He gave me. If I was to pick a bible passage that guided me in all these episodes, it would be Proverbs 3:1-8.
My blueprint was that I was to keep His commands, to love Him, my workmates and myself. I was to pursue the truth of what had happened or is happening or could happen. I was not to pursue fuzzy logic as a friend of mine would say, which is the way of the world, but pursue the truth and not only for His sake or mine, but also for the sake of my workmates and the nation, to see them blessed. It with this attitude that I found favour and esteem in the sight of God and man.
In pursuing the truth, I was to always leave my heart open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. He took me to places where I could find the truth. I was to trust Him always, not to worry about details as He would bring the details to me. Because of my deafness, I had a tendency to worry about missing out on some important details. But God took care of all that. When we are weak, He is strong within us. We are not to be afraid of being weak. We are not to lean on our understanding but to trust Him in ALL His ways. I did not have to plan anything, apart from booking my flights and accommodation during my investigations and such, but to simply trust Him that He had a plan.
YET THERE IS SO MUCH MORE TO LEARN ABOUT SITTING AT THE GATES
As I mentioned above, I wasn’t confident of an open heaven above me where I worked. I wasn’t confident with my spiritual senses. I believe there is so much more about sitting at the gates that I have hardly scratched the surface. This was confirmed for me in one of my prayer time. I had sensed a challenging question “Do you know where all the gates and walls are in your personal life, in your home, in your neighbourhood and workplace, and in your nation? CAN YOU SEE THEM?”.
The last sentence hit me hard. This set me of on a journey seeking His answers, because I really wasn’t very sure. I certainly wasn’t seeing the gates as such. I was never taught that I should have good spiritual senses. Yet the bible says amongst many other relevant passages:
“If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth” (Colossians 3:1-2).
Seeking involve searching out with all your spiritual senses. If we set our minds on the things of the world, we use our physical senses. Thus, to me, setting our minds on things above requires us to employ our spiritual senses.
I sensed this is a critical part of the Lord’s call to us to Get Ready, Get Set. Once we’re on the blocks, ready to go, we need all our faculties brought into operation, all spirit senses, soul senses and physical senses to be His gatekeepers at the gates. In other words, we need heaven here on earth, with all its unlimited resources and we need to know how to use them.
Many doubt their call to be His gatekeepers, and many are failing to hear that call. Some who hear the call instead go looking for people of influence to be His gatekeepers, but, no, we are His gatekeepers. We are to lift Jesus in all that we do, and He will draw all men to Himself.
Being His gatekeepers is our inheritance from Abraham, as emphasised in Genesis 22:15-18
“Then the Angel of the Lord called to Abraham a second time out of heaven, and said: “By Myself I have sworn, says the Lord, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son— blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies. In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.”
and Galatians 3:29
“And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
At the next National Summit in Melbourne, I will share what the Lord has been revealing about developing our spiritual senses. I am excited by what the Lord is going to do with the FGBA. Prophecies are pouring in about the Lord bringing His fire to Australia and the FGBA will be a part of it. FIRE GOD BRINGS to AUSTRALIA. I hope to see you all there in Melbourne on 27th to 29th October. Already there is strong interest from unexpected sources!
Fear not and hold fast!! Do not look to the past, do not be dismayed by the present, look to the future!! Hold fast!! Hold fast!! A whole new dimension is coming as heaven invades earth. My kingdom is here and will come in increasing glory. Heaven is here and will come in increasing glory!! Get ready!! Get set!! It won’t be long before I say GO!! Time is short!!
For a little over three weeks, from 11th September to Wednesday 4th October, I will be in New Zealand visiting some 17 towns/chapters in both north and south islands, ministering salvation to lost souls. I would appreciate prayers as my desire is that signs and wonders follow as I lift Jesus up with the sharing of my testimony of Christ.
Shalom and every blessing to all,

Comment by FGBA Victoria Director Bill Sgro:
This would be the most powerful example of a gate keeper I have heard and read to date. This does not sound like another church message our Christian contacts would get on a Sunday somewhere.
It inspires you at the core to stand in the place of your work place and be his powerful rods of righteousness.
I love that thought and concept of being in that place standing for Him as the Authority and not you being the authority. It somehow takes the pressure off, your expectation to do or say anything, and you are just standing in that place as a watchman. Not an immediate threat to anyone, but they know they are not free to do as they please because there being watched, and know somehow that they will be held accountable for their actions, deeds and words.
Can’t wait to get the final draft to email this out to our Monday night attendees and many others on my email list for inspiration, Whether they believe there gatekeepers or not.
Bless you mate.
My business career in Financial Services spanned over 35 years and as I say in my personal testimony, I would not have survived and prospered if it wasn’t for God’s hand on my life and His Call for me to bring His Kingdom into His business world.
But I have to say, that there were many seasons when I found life and business was very tough. In fact, there were many times of struggles, when economic conditions downturned, or when we had to achieve unrealistic corporate expectations with limited resources, or simply when things just went wrong and didn’t go to plan.
So what do you do when things in your life, ministry or business simply don’t go to plan?
Well, one of the important lessons that God taught me is that sometimes I have to “take the brave pill”. Joshua 1:6-9 says:
"6 Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.7 “Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. 8 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. 9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
For the tough times in my life and business, I found this scripture really helpful. Look at some of the keys:
- “Be strong and courageous” – God has an inheritance for us. I found that it was helpful to go back to the Vision and Mission that God gave me for my business and then get into prayer to build up my faith to push forward during tough times.
- “Obey all the Laws” – this was really calling me out to look at myself and check for “sin” both intentional and unintentional. Was I trying to do things my way or God’s way? This would lead to continual reflection and repentance.
- “Meditate on God’s Laws day and night” – for me, this was a call to go beyond praying; to really “press in and seek” God’s blueprint, plans and purposes for my life and business.
- “Then you will be prosperous and successful”- this is a promise from God
- “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” – again God is reminding me to be strong and courageous, not to be discouraged and that He will be with me.
So what are your life, ministry or business challenges at the moment?
Do you need to go back to the Vision and Mission God has given to you and then “take the brave pill” and seek God’s plans, so that you can cross into His promises for your life and business.

YOU CANNOT REMAIN COMPLETELY SILENT
“For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
Many of us recognise the latter part of the verse, revealing that we were born to come into the Kingdom of God for such a time as this. But many ignore the first part – “If you remain completely silent at this time”.
Thus there are society issues that I cannot remain silent on. Now is the time for us to discuss the full truths about important and controversial topics, not part truths.
For example, homosexuality or even intersexuality. Yes, God’s plan is that we be born male and female. But we were born in sin, subjected to generational curses, curses uttered through witchcraft, and/or curses brought about by dysfunctional family upbringing, that has impacted on our sexuality, the impact, and hence the consequences, ranging from indiscernible to extreme. If babes can be born with two heads attached to the one body, then other gross deformities can occur, as with hermaphrodites. Some of these people are so lacking in sexual identity that they are hurting and in so much emotional pain that they react with violence. To be called bullies by Christians can only add to their pain. I personally believe no amount of change in laws in either direction (that is, either towards Christian values or to LGBTI values) will resolve this situation. Only the transforming power of Jesus Christ can resolve this, hence our priority to lift Him up, so that He can draw them to himself. There are plenty of testimonies of Jesus miraculously restoring them, even hermaphrodites, to their God-given sexuality and identity. Some such testimonies are available on YouTube.
As a veterinarian, I have encountered animals so mismanaged or even brutalised by their owners that they react in many ways, ranging from cowering in the most abject and pitiful fashion to lashing out in the most ferocious and fearsome manner. It was only through love, patience, and exhibiting other fruits of the spirit that they could be won over and ministered to, and become as God has purposed them to be at creation, not to be fearful of man. Not by cursing them with names, but by blessing them as God’s very own.
So too we need to see those lacking in their God-given sexual identity as God’s very own.
Similarly, for marriage. Yes, God’s plan is as described in Genesis 2:23-24 and Matthew 19:3-6. But having been born in sin, many have married in sin with marriages impacted by curses as described earlier, with union lasting from moments (leading to annulments) to months or even years, leading to divorces. Many men and women married due to ungodly parental pressures and the ungodly expectations of society and culture with regards to marriage, and so they had married as man and woman because it was the right thing to do. Society expects people to be married because of so-called advantages of being married. Those lacking in their God-given sexual identity do not want to miss out on society’s expectations. Again, no change of laws in either direction (that is, either towards Christian values or to LGBTI values) will resolve this situation. Again, only the transforming power of Jesus Christ can resolve this. Again, our priority is to lift Him up, so that He can draw them to himself. There are testimonies of Jesus miraculously transforming the most horrific of marriages between man and woman to their God-given purposes and of bringing those so lacking in their God-given sexuality to a clear identity and a marriage union so blessed by God.
The challenge is for us gatekeepers to lift Jesus in such a loving manner that enables Jesus to draw them ALL to Himself. I believe the only way we can do this is through a desire for evangelism in the power of the Holy Spirit. And to teach them to abide and remain in His love by making disciples whose life, living and livelihood are in Christ. An example is in John 4, which showed how Jesus drew the woman at the well to Himself. He didn’t succeed in getting a drink of water from her, but He certainly succeeded in winning her heart to Himself. For those who want to study further on this example, I suggest reading David Pawson’s commentary of the Gospel of John (The Story of the bad Samaritan). If you google “pawson story bad Samaritan”, you can find this interesting easy-to-read teaching.
So my prayer is this:
“Lord, we thank You for Your Word. We thank you for bringing us into Your Kingdom for such a time as this and for us not to be silent on issues that will bring relief and deliverance, not only to Your people already in Your Kingdom, but also to all those You have called and who have not yet entered and inherited Your Kingdom. We thank You for all Your creation around us, including all those who hate us and persecute us. Fill us and empower us, Lord, with the transforming power of your Holy Spirit that we, as your humble servants, as your specially prepared people, lovingly lift You up in the homes, marketplaces, cities and nations, so that You, according to Your Word, draw ALL men (and women) to Yourself so that you can restore them to their God-given identity, inheritance and imperatives. Also, Lord, we ask that you continue to equip and guide us so that we disciple these people into living out their life, living and livelihood in Christ, so that none shall perish, but all will come into eternal life, in Jesus name. Amen.”

TRANSFORMATION – WHAT IS IT?
Our Vision Statement says - Full Gospel Business Australia is a body of believers empowered by the Holy Spirit to transform the culture of nations through discipling men and women for the work of the Kingdom of God.
What do we mean by transform? The Greek word used in the bible is metamorphóō. The following four bible verses use this same Greek word:
Matthew 17:1-3 - “Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him.”
Mark 9:2 - “Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John, and led them up on a high mountain apart by themselves; and He was transfigured before them.”
Romans 12:2 - “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
2 Corinthians 3:18 - “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
As we know, this Greek word gave rise to the English word – metamorphosis which according to a dictionary means:
•(Biology) a profound change in form from one stage to the next in the life history of an organism, as from the caterpillar to the pupa and from the pupa to the adult butterfly.
•a complete change of form, structure, or substance, as transformation by magic or witchcraft.
•any complete change in appearance, character, circumstances, etc.
Because of the complete change wrought by metamorphosis, can our pre-transformed mind know or even grasp what will result from complete transformation? We know that for transformation to occur at a personal level, we must die to self, die to our old life, to be buried with Christ so that it is no longer we who live but Christ who lives in us.
So how do we apply this principle to transforming the culture of nations?
One thing the bible tells us is that when God’s city, Jerusalem, or even God’s nation, Israel, lived in sin, the city and the nation had to be destroyed and the people scattered. Transition did not work. Yes, when the Israelites were brought back to Jerusalem, they restored the temple, brought back the sacrifices and the reading and preaching of the Word. But it was their response to the Word that determined their destiny. The Word was to be received with trembling by those with a broken and contrite heart (Isaiah 66:2). Many in Israel, and, of course, all those outside Israel, ridiculed, even persecuted and hated those who took the Word too seriously. But because of the prevailing poor attitude of many Israelites to the Word, off went Israel back to their sinful old ways again.
Transformation occurs when we take His Word most seriously, believed it, studied it, meditated on it, even trembled at it, letting it strike home sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of our souls and spirits, and let it be a discerner of our thoughts and intents of the heart (Hebrews 4:12). If we are to become like Jesus, who Himself said “My Words that I speak to you are spirit and they are life” (John 6:63), speaking or even prophesying words of life, then we must first let His Word have its way to the very core of our being, bringing His life into every part of us. We cannot speak life if we do not have His Word and life in us. True disciples are those whose life, living and livelihood are in the Word.
Smith Wigglesworth is right when He shared his life principles:
1- Read the Word of God
2- Consume the Word of God until it consumes you
3- Believe the Word of God
4- Act on the Word of God
Thus it seems to me that transformation of the culture of marketplaces, cities and nations can only occur when the people of these places takes His Word most seriously. But what we are seeing today are nations ridiculing His word, even churches neglecting His Word, the opposite of what should be happening. Thus our task is not just to bring people back to God through the preaching of the gospel of the kingdom of God, but also to instill in them a love and passion for His Word in their lives, living and livelihood through the making of disciples in all nations.
Proverbs 4:20-22 - 20 - My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen carefully to my words. Don’t “lose sight of them. Let them penetrate deep into your heart, for they bring life to those who find them, and healing to their whole body.”
Matthew 4:4 - “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.”
So my prayer is this, that we proclaim over ourselves, family, workplaces and nation daily:
“Lord, we thank You for Your word. We thank You also for our new hearts which You gave us when we gave our lives to You, hearts that love every word that proceeds from mouth of God and that brings life and healing to our whole body, and also brings transformation to the marketplaces, cities and nations, in Jesus name. Amen.”
